01 / My journey
From engineer to operational leader.
I've built my career close enough to technology to understand the detail, while increasingly focusing on the people, priorities and decisions that shape outcomes.
I began with hands-on technical delivery and progressed into leading cloud operations teams and managing customer-facing infrastructure services. At Intercity Technology, I moved from Cloud Operations Engineer to Team Leader and then Cloud Operations Manager.
That progression shaped how I lead. I know what it means to be the engineer dealing with a recurring problem, and I also understand the wider challenge of building processes, developing capability, managing budgets and giving stakeholders confidence in service delivery.
More recently, my experience has extended across infrastructure engineering leadership, major incidents, service transformation and cross-functional collaboration. I'm particularly interested in roles where I can connect technical teams with broader operational and business priorities.
